Slobodan D. Pesic, Producer/Director
For the past 30 years Slobodan has been working as a free-lance writer/director for TV and film companies in US, England, Germany and Yugoslavia. Experienced in both the creative and business ends of the film industry through his own production company, Metropolitan Pictures, he has written, directed and produced award-winning dramas, documentaries, live broadcasts, music videos, and commercials. Pesic's first full-length feature film as writer and director, "The Harms Case", was selected as an official entry for the 1988 Cannes Film Festival, and has garnered praise at film festivals in Berlin, Mannheim, Jerusalem, Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, and Hong Kong. In 1999 Pesic co-produced and was Director of Photography for BURN, a harrowing tale of casual violence among displaced young men from the former Yugoslavia seeking to renew their shattered lives in New York City. Pesic cowrote two books: THE CUBE (HarperCollins – San Francisco, 1995) followed by SECRETS OF THE CUBE (Hyperion/Disney, 1998). Both books sold more than 500,000 copies and were published in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Japan, China and Serbia.
Ivana Pesic, Producer
Ivana has more than 20 highly successful years' experience in managing, Public Relation and developing a range of conferences, events, training programs and awards ceremonies. Trained as a producer, she is a founder and executive in charge of the company.
Annie Gottlieb, Creative advisor
Annie is a New York writer, critic, and editor whose work has appeared in The New York Times and major national magazines. She is the author of Do You Believe In Magic? Bringing the Sixties Back Home and coauthor of Wishcraft: How to Get What You Really Want. Annie and Slobodan wrote THE CUBE and THE SECRETS OF THE CUBE.
